Meet Our Group

Tina Linton received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario and her Masters degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™) with over 20 years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in home, school, and community based programs. Tina began her career in Ontario working as a Behavioural Interventionist. She moved to Victoria, BC where she continued supporting families of children with ASD and assisted with the start up of the Autism Early Intervention Program at the Queen Alexandra Center for Children’s Health in her role as an Autism Interventionist. When she moved to Vancouver, Tina began working with the Family Centred Practices Group and, after completing her Masters, was promoted to the role of Senior Behavioural Consultant. Tina also worked with Douglas College in their Behavioural Interventionist Citation Program and is a founding partner of the “Behavioural Interventionist Training Partnership”. Tina assumed the role of Clinical Director in November of 2008 and began managing the business.

Gerard M. Kysela received a B.Sc. and M.A. in Psychology and Clinical Child Psychology respectively from Xavier University (Ohio) in 1966. Following three years of study at the University of Waterloo, he received a Ph.D. degree in Child Development in 1969. Since that time, he has been teaching and carrying out research with children, parents and teachers in areas of childhood special needs and disorders. Dr. Kysela received the award for excellence in research from the Canadian Psychological Foundation in 1995 for his lifetime research with children with special needs and their families. Dr. Kysela is a professor emeritus in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Alberta. Collaborative research and clinical developments with families having a young child with special needs such as a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum have been the focus of Dr. Kysela’s clinical activities for the past several years. In collaboration with colleagues, Dr. Kysela has been developing both family centred practice models as well as intensive behavioural intervention models. As Senior Advisor, Dr. Kysela oversees the practice and provides advice to the Clinical Director.

Christy Cheremshynski received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alberta and her Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. The focus of her thesis was the development of a culturally-enhanced PBS plan for a family of diverse culture. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™) with over 10 years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in home, school and community-based programs. She was first introduced to this field by gaining employment as a Behavioural Interventionist in an early intensive behaviour intervention program in Alberta and has worked with families in various locations including Edmonton, Alberta, the Thompson-Okanagan, and the Lower Mainland. In her role as a Senior Behavioural Consultant with FCPG, Christy assists with the clinical operations, as well as training, supervision and mentorship. Christy has also completed a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at UBC.

Rita received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and worked with adults and children with mental and physical disabilities during her undergraduate studies. She began working as a behavioural interventionist with families supported by Family Centred Practices Group (FCPG) in 2006 and over the years has gained valuable experience and education leading her towards her current role as a Behavioural Consultant with FCPG. She holds a Masters of Education degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities from the University of British Columbia. Rita is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™).

Kourtney completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Thompson Rivers University. She graduated from the University of British Columbia where she completed her Masters of Education in Special Education, with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Kourtney has been supporting children diagnosed with autism in home, school and a variety of community-based settings since 2006. Kourtney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™). She is currently working as a Behavioural Consultant here at Family Centred Practices Group.

Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria. She completed her Masters of Professional Education degree with a focus in Special Education at Western University. Katie has been supporting children with diagnoses of autism in home, school and community settings since 2007. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA™) and a Behaviour Consultant with Family Centred Practices Group.

Shirley Chen received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She has had experience working with children of different ages since 2012. Shirley started with FCPG as a Behavioral Interventionist in 2022 and now works as a Senior Behavioral Interventionist with our group. With a solid foundation in behavioral sciences and extensive hands-on experience, Shirley has developed expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating behavior intervention plans to address various behavioral issues across diverse populations. Shirley became a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA™) in 2024.

Cherry has a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behaviour Analysis, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders from Arizona State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Commerce from the University of British Columbia. She joined the Family Centred Practices Group in 2013 and has supported children diagnosed with ASD in home, school and community-based settings. Cherry became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™) in 2020.
Cherry Cheng is fluent in English and Cantonese. She can provide services in Cantonese upon request.

Beverly received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Beverly first started supporting children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in 2011. She is experienced in both centre and home-based intervention settings. Beverly joined Family Centred Practices Group in 2015 and holds a Masters of Education in Special Education with a concentration in autism and developmental delays at the University of British Columbia. Beverly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™). She currently works as a Senior Behaviour Consultant with FCPG, providing support in home, school, and community settings.

Lesley received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and has completed her Masters of Education degree at the University of British Columbia. Lesley has been working with Family Centred Practices Group since 2011. She has experience working in home, school and community-based settings. She has also volunteered at Children’s Hospital and as a youth cheerleading coach. Lesley became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™) in 2019.
Lesley Pineda Rodas is fluent in English and Spanish. She can provide services in Spanish upon request.

Kenny graduated from Arizona State University with a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2021, and he has been working in the behaviour analysis field as a Behaviour Interventionist and Behaviour Consultant for over 9 years. He is now working as a Senior Behavioural Consultant with Family Centred Practices Group. He received his credentials as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in May 2022 and continues to support families and children to create a positive and happy environment. Kenny is happy to be working with FCPG, where he can put a smile on the faces of the people he serves and have a positive impact on their lives.

Baldeep holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Counselling and Human Development from Simon Fraser University since 2016. In 2021, Baldeep received her Master of Arts degree in Special Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis) from the University of Arizona State. She started her work with FCPG as a Behavioural Interventionist and now supports children diagnosed with ASD as a Senior Behavioural Consultant. Baldeep has experience supporting children in home and community based settings.

Madylainne Kriete received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Simon Fraser University; with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2018. She began working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2011, with support from Family Centred Practices Group. She is experienced in both centre and home-based intervention settings. Madylainne became a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA™) in 2018.

Kellina received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis with a concentration in Autism from Capilano University in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Arts in Special Education from Arizona State University. She began working with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum in 2009. Kellina has extensive experience supporting children in home, school and a variety of community-based settings. She joined Family Centred Practices Group in 2014.

Karissa became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA™) in 2024 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from Simon Fraser University in 2018. She completed her Masters of Arts in Behaviour Analysis Practice at Florida Institute of Technology in 2022. She has been supporting children diagnosed with Autism with a range of abilities since 2016 in home, school and daycare settings and has experience providing behavioural services based on the Early Start Denver Model and Applied Behaviour Analysis. Karissa continues to support families in her current role as a Behavioural Consultant with FCPG.

Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Health and Society. In 2023, she obtained a Master’s degree in Special Education, specializing in Autism and Developmental Disorders, from the University of British Columbia. In 2024, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA™). Natalie has been working with FCPG since 2019. She has extensive experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders in various environments, including homes, daycares, schools, and community settings. Additionally, Natalie has experience working with youth in supportive housing. Natalie is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all individuals and enhancing the quality of life for the individuals and families she supports.
Natalie del Gobbo is fluent in English and French. She can provide services in French upon request.

Jorja is currently working towards finishing her degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC. She has cared for children for 10 years in various volunteer and work positions, and has worked exclusively with children and teens with ASD and other neurodiverse profiles since 2022, with her career at FCPG as a Behaviour Interventionist starting in 2023.

Marjan is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis at Capilano University, working toward BCaBA certification. She has also studied Infant Development and Supported Child Development through the University of British Columbia. With over a decade of experience working with young children, Marjan is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children through family-centred, individualized strategies that build trust and confidence in their everyday lives. She joined Family Centred Practices Group as a Senior Behaviour Interventionist in 2025.

Nikki received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Economics from Simon Fraser University in 2006 and completed her Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Early Learning in 2010. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) from Arizona State University. She joined Family Centred Practice Group in 2021 and now works with Family Centred Practices Group as a Senior Behavioural Interventionist/Junior Behaviour Consultant. Nikki has 12 years of experience working with children with a range of abilities and has experience supporting children diagnosed with ASD in home and varied community settings. Nikki is fluent in English and Mandarin. She can provide services in Mandarin upon request.

Aimee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Thompson Rivers University. Aimee joined FCPG in 2020 and is now supporting children and families as a Senior Behavioural Interventionist with our group. Aimee has experience supporting children in a variety of home, community and school settings.

Amerey graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She has been working with Family Centred Practices Group since 2022, supporting children and families in home, school, and various community settings. Amerey has participated in various volunteer programs at BC Children’s Hospital and the Sunny Hill Autism Clinic. As a Senior Behavioural Interventionist with FCPG, Amerey is committed to delivering top quality, individualized and evidence-based interventions to help children thrive in various environments.

Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2023. Andrea has been working with us since 2021 and has gained great experience supporting children diagnosed with ASD in a variety of home and community settings.

Ariana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavior Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University in 2017. She started her work with FCPG as a Behavior Interventionist and now supports ASD children as a Senior Behavior Interventionist. She has supported children in home, school and, community settings.

Arthi received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Counselling at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2019 and a certification in Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2021. She has been supporting children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has experience working in home, school and a variety of community-based settings since 2017. She joined FCPG in 2017 and currently supports children and families as a Senior Behavioural Interventionist with our group. Arthi is working up to become a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA).

Ashleigh is currently in the last year of her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Simon Fraser University. Ashleigh joined FCPG in 2021 as a Behavioural Interventionist and has been supporting children diagnosed with ASD at home, in daycare and community settings. She is currently working as Senior Behavioural Interventionist at Family Centred Practices Group.
Ashleigh Ventura is fluent in Tagalog and English. She can provide services in Tagalog and English upon request.

Asma received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in 2023. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Purdue University in 2024. Asma has experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. She is currently accruing her supervision hours towards becoming a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

Grace received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
She joined Family Centred Practices Group in 2020, and has experience supporting children with ASD in home, school and community-based settings. Grace currently works as a Senior Behavioural Interventionist with FCPG and is responsible for working closely with clients in intervention sessions, managing programs, and supporting and training Behavior Interventionists, under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Consultants.

Jenny Lee received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Distinction from the University of British Columbia in 2023. She joined Family Centred Practices Group in 2024 and is currently a Senior Behavioural Interventionist. Jenny has over 10 years of experience working with children and more than 3 years supporting individuals within the mental health and neurodivergent communities. She has in-clinic experience supporting children with diverse learning and behavioural needs and is committed to providing individualized, evidence-informed support that promotes meaningful growth and engagement.

Juliet Musonge received her Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Capilano University in 2020 and became a Board Certified assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA™) in 2021. She earned her Master’s in Special Education, with a concentration on Autism and Developmental Disabilities, from the University of British Columbia in 2023. Juliet has over 10 years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in home, clinic and community-based programs, both as a behaviour interventionist and behaviour consultant. She is currently accruing her practicum hours towards becoming a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA™).

Sara received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts and Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2022. She is currently working on receiving her Masters in Special Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis) from Arizona State University. She began working with children on the spectrum with FCPG in 2023 as a Behaviour Interventionist, and is now working as a Senior Behaviour Interventionist.

Becky received her certification with honours in Early Childhood Education in 2005. She began working with children supported by Family Centred Practices Group (FCPG) as a Behavioural Interventionist in 2021, later advancing to a Senior Behavioural Interventionist role, and is now serving as the Intake Coordinator. She has supported children with diverse needs in their home, school and community both privately as a caregiver and as a teacher in a Preschool/Junior Kindergarten setting. Becky has Basic Sign Language and is a certified tutor for early literacy.

Cecille holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Gordon College. With 17 years of diverse experience in various accounting roles, Cecille brings a deep well of knowledge and expertise to our team. Since joining us in May 2023, Cecille has focused on invoicing, preparing general and management reports, bookkeeping, and contributing to various ad hoc tasks.

Dorisz completed her vocational training in Accounting and Finance in 2016 and accrued four years of valuable accounting experience before joining FCPG. She started with us in 2018, and she is our current (and outstanding) Accounting Coordinator. Her main contributions are around Invoices, Fundings and Payroll, but she is always willing to help in any way she can!

Favy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and International Business, as well as a diploma in Business Communication. She has experience in administrative and management roles. She joined FCPG in 2025 as Administrative Assistant. She is always willing to assist and support our team and clients with any administrative task and information required.

Kasey studied a Bachelor of Wildlife Science at University of Queensland in Australia before moving to Canada. She has worked in zoos and aquariums and gained international experience assisting wildlife vets in South Africa. Since 2020, Kasey has been working at FCPG utilizing her organizational skills and diverse background to efficiently coordinate the BI placements with the amazing families we work with.

Madonna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Diploma in Human Resource Management. She joined FCPG in 2025 and brings extensive experience in human resources, administration, and organizational management. Madonna’s expertise spans employee relations, recruitment, HR strategy, business development, and labour relations. Prior to FCPG, she managed and supported teams across diverse workplaces, honing her skills in building strong workplace culture and supporting staff growth. She is committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both staff and families and is always ready to provide guidance and assistance wherever needed.
